On October 23, 2019, the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law organized a scientific and practical round table on the topic: "The legal system of Ukraine in the conditions of society transformation". Participants in the round table were: Head of the Department of History of Law and State of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Doctor of Science, Professor - Maria Miroshnichenko; Head of the Department of the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Doctor of Science, Associate Professor - Igor Karapatnik; Professor of the Department of History and Theory of State and Law, Professor of ICA, Academician of the Interregional Academy of Life Safety, Doctor of Science in Political Science, Ph.D. - Fedor Medvid; Head of the Department of Legal Support of Ivan Chernyakhovsky National University of Defense of Ukraine, Candidate of Law, Colonel of Justice - Mykhailo Prokhorenko; Associate Professor, Department of State Theory and Law, National Academy of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Science - Olga Staritskaya; doctoral student of Post-graduate and Doctoral Studies of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Ph.D. - Denis Tikhomirov, as well as scientific and pedagogical staff of the Faculty of Law. During the event, problems concerning the development of the legal system of Ukraine, the establishment of its categorical status in the light of the political and legal changes of today; preserving the national identity of the legal system in the context of globalization and legal acculturation; formation of legal culture as an integral part of the domestic legal system were raised. The issues raised were the introduction of European standards of the administrative process, reform of the security and defense sector of Ukraine, legislative support of the functioning of the national educational sector, state regulation of transformations in the financial system of Ukraine, as well as in other spheres of public life that are undergoing a radical renewal in the Europeanization process. During the summing up of the scientific and practical round table the participants of the event made the following conclusions: modern changes in the social dimension as a result of legal transformations in society and the state make it necessary to further study the laws and trends of the development of individual legal families, national legal systems, taking into account national traditions and the achievements of legal science. , as well as the constant study of the content, nature and forms of legal globalization, its relation to legal integration and other similar processes. |
