The Law Faculty of NAU continues the project “Enlightenment”, answering the challenges of today and the students’ requests to study the novelties in the legislation. It is for this purpose that guests and individuals involved in public policy are invited to participate, through the adoption of power decisions and the development of a clear algorithm for action on the implementation of legislative initiatives.
As part of the cooperation with the employers’ stakeholders, an open lecture on “Reforming the Law Enforcement Bodies of Ukraine” was held on October 16, 2019 for the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Law.
The speaker was Ivan Stupak, Advisor to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense of the Security Service of Ukraine, a member of the Kyiv Regional Council, who introduced the law enforcement system to the students, focused attention on the problems and implemented reforms.
The lively discussion was oroginated by the questions about the effectiveness of the work of certain law enforcement agencies in the field of law and order, ensuring the rights of citizens, etc.
