On June 20, 2019, a meeting for students of the 1st year of the Faculty of Law with employees of Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights office were organized as a part of the professional studiyng practice.
In an introductory word of the Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of Law, Olena Makeieva also stated that the Ombudsman Institute of Ukraine worked in the state institute of state bodies, being an independent and necessary legal institute in the public service of human rights.
During the event employees of the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights talked about the structure and preservation of the Ombudsman Institute, which he created for members of the budgetary parliament in order to obtain constitutional rights and liberties of people and the public. In the course of the event, a discussion was raised about the practical problems of a rights and liberties of a man and citizen in Ukraine. In the course of communication students actively asked questions, showed the high level of theoretical and practical legal knowledge.
Such events help to establish future lawyers as professionals in the sphere of protecting Human Rights.
