Human rights protection in conditions of scientific-technical progress was the main direction of the discussions at the International Summer School “International Standards for the Protection of Human Rights”. The Faculty of Law of National Aviation University was the co-organizer of the school that held in the city of Varna (the Republic of Bulgaria).
Professor of the Faculty of Law of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” Stefka Naumova opened the scientific meeting by her lecture on human rights.
Senior Lecturer of Constitutional and Administrative Law Department of the Faculty of Law of National Aviation University Oksana Myronets conducted the training on the problems of the human rights implementation and the mechanism of their protection in modern conditions. The scientific-pedagogical staff and students of the faculty participated in the discussion of gender equality ensuring in current conditions of human rights discrimination; a mechanism of human rights protection in the field of international cooperation on combating financial crime.
In free time, teachers and students visited the library, forensic laboratory and the courtroom of the Varna University, learned about the cultural heritage of the cities of Varna and Balchik.
