On June 20, 2019 students of the PR-101 Academic group of Faculty of Law, led by the assistant of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Liudmyla Shapenko, visited the Museum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at the National Academy of Internal Affairs.
The visit to the Museum took place within the framework of conducting professional studying practice in order to familiarize future lawyers with the peculiarities of the organization of the work of the law enforcement system of Ukraine at various stages of its existence.
During the excursion, the first-year students were presented with collections of cold and firearms extracted from criminals, forged money and documents, tools by which they were made; materials of resonant criminal cases, material evidence; photographs, documents and personal belongings of known law enforcement officers; the most important legal acts concerning the activity of law enforcement bodies, as well as a unique collection of uniforms of workers from different countries in this syste.
At the end of the event, the students visited an exhibition hall entitled "Subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in defense of the state" where exhibition materials reflected the heroic feats of the police during the anti-terrorist operation in the East of our country, which allowed each visitor to understand even more about the complexity and responsibility of the work of the internal affairs officers.
