On May 17, 2019, in the framework of the work of the II International Scientific-Practical Conference on the Day of Science “Youth Scientific Juridical Forum”, the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law organized the meeting of the 1st year students held with practicing lawyer-advocate, Candidate of Juridical Sciences Dmitro Minyuk .
The lawyer emphasized that the qualitative training of students in educational institutions of Ukraine depends on the combination of theoretical knowledge with practice in the educational process. It was emphasized that the basis of the lawyer’s activity is the ability to apply barriers in dealing with citizens who applied for legal aid and quickly find the regulatory framework needed to resolve legal problems.
Dmitro Minyuk shared his experience in juridical practice in resolving civil legal disputes in court sessions, preparing legal documents on various categories of cases, and providing examples of solving problems in the event of a collision of legislation.
During the meeting, the students have been offered the case of tasks to be solved. The lawyer emphasized that the priority in the educational process should be given to professionally oriented subjects with the development of various procedural documents in practical classes.
