On May 17, 2019, a meeting devoted to the Day of Science, which is traditionally celebrated in Ukraine on the third Saturday of May, was held at the National Aviation University.
Rector Vladimir Isaenko congratulated the academic staff and students, thanking everyone for their professional scientific achievements. He noted that the university has identified the main scientific directions: modern aerospace technologies, aerospace systems for monitoring and navigation of mobile objects, information technologies and comprehensive information protection, environmental protection, etc. These areas unite educational and scientific institutes and faculties of the university that carry out research and training of highly qualified personnel.
Vladimir Kharchenko, Vice-Rector for Research, made a presentation on the achievements and tasks of the university’s scientific community. Oleg Bondarenko, Head of the Department for Management of Innovative Education Projects, spoke about the formation and future of the NAU Science Park. On the innovative capabilities of university scientists said the head of the research unit Peter Pavlenko.
For active participation in research work, the rector Vladimir Isaenko presented certificates to scientific and pedagogical workers and student-winners of all-Ukrainian student research competitions in the natural, technical and humanitarian sciences, including representatives of the Law Faculty.
