On April 23, 2019, in the framework of the International Scientific and Technical Conference “AVIA-2019”, a law section on the “Unified Airspace Legal Support” was held at the Faculty of Law.
Opening the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty Irina Zopilko stressed the importance of communication between scientists, representatives of government agencies and enterprises, and joint activities to improve legislation in the field of aviation law.
The director of the ICAO Institute, Galina Suslova, in her speech drew attention to the cybersecurity of civil aviation and legal culture as an important element of security. Director of the State Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Aliyev Mubariz Nariman oglu, shared his country's experience in solving the problems of civil aviation security. Anatoly Gumenyuk, Head of Aviation Security Service at the Antonov State Enterprise, stated his vision of the development prospects of Ukraine’s aviation industry. Natalya Ponomareva, Deputy Head of the Regulatory Department of the Legal Department of the State Audit Office, told about the necessary changes to the Air Code of Ukraine and invited faculty scientists to cooperate in this direction. The Executive Director of the public organization “Ukrainian Youth Aerospace Association“ Constellation ”Sergey Yatskov noted the importance of proper training of aerospace specialists and changing the approaches to their training in accordance with the requirements of the time.
The following took an active part in the discussion: Alexander Mikhaylin, Deputy General Director for Airlines, Azur Air Ukraine Airlines LLC; Yakov Galanyuk, Deputy General Director for Aviation and Security at Zavod 410 GA State Enterprise; coordinator for the work of amateur modeling circles of the Kiev region, director of the center for children and youth creativity at the education department of the Borodyansky RSA, Natalya Dvoryakovskaya; Nikolai Roshak, head of the Aviamodel Circle of the Borodyansky Center for Children and Youth Creativity; Deputy Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anatoly Kotsura; Head of the Prosecution Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Vitaly Secretary and scientists of the Law Faculty of NAU.
The result of the discussion was the development of joint decisions of scientists and practitioners on the need to improve national legislation in the field of aviation law.
