The relevance of this event is explained by the fact that 7 years ago the new Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine It was a breakthrough to European standards, however, at the same time, problematic questions For seven years, we see problems that arise in practice with The new Criminal Procedure Code: the abolition of the so-called “pre-investigation "check, which allowed filtering all allegations of crimes on the subject the validity of the persecution. It is also established by the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Features of the definition of jurisdiction (in particular, for NABU) - a combination of the crimes, the subjects of their commission, the amount of harm, the subject of the crime created conditions for permanent disputes over jurisdiction due to the impossibility of its determination in the beginning of the investigation.

Students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with textbooks, manuals, monographs, periodicals related to the domestic criminal process.

During the event, a fruitful discussion arose regarding positive and negative manifestations in criminal proceedings in connection with the adoption in 2012 of the new Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
