The important direction of professional activity of scientific and pedagogical workers is their participation in scientific events. April 16, 2019, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Olena Makeyeva took part in the annual international scientific-practical conference of the Institute of State and Law of them. VM Koretsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "Legal Monitoring and Legal Expertise: Issues of Theory and Practice", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the creation of the Institute of State and Law of them. The conference was attended by well-known lawyers, as well as representatives of state authorities, scientific and educational institutions.

Congratulations to the conference participants addressed the director of the Institute of State and Law of them. VM Koretsky Yuriy Shemshuchenko, People's Deputy of Ukraine Irina Suslova, Vice-President of the NAPrN of Ukraine, Head of the Kyiv Regional Center NAPrN Ukraine Natalia Kuznetsova.

During the plenary session of the conference were such famous scientists as: Anatoly Selivanov, Natalia Onischenko, Ilya Shutak, Svetlana Bobrovnik, Natalia Parkhomenko and others. During the section sessions were scientific and pedagogical workers, graduate students and young scientists. Elena Makeieva made a presentation "Information function of legal monitoring" and was awarded the diploma for the 1st place in the competition for the best scientific work.

Such research activities are extremely important cognitive and promote the professionalism of scientific and pedagogical workers.
