April 3, 2019, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, associate professor Svetlana Golovko took part in the international roundtable on "Integrity in the Academic Environment: Legal and Technological Aspects" organized by the Kyiv National Economics named after Vadym Hetman together with in partnership with Plagiat.pl.
The executive director of Plagiat.pl Ali Takhmazov and customer service manager Anna Jdjaychak familiarized the participants with the experience of Polish higher education institutions in combating plagiarism and legislative changes related to plagiarism.
The participants of the event discussed a number of topical issues: on the procedure for checking and evaluating scientific and student works on plagiarism; formation of the domestic legislative base; on open access to up-to-date information on Ukrainian scientific editions.
Representatives of the leading institutions of higher education in Ukraine from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Ternopil, and Nizhyn shared experience in conducting a procedure for the verification and appraisal of scientific and student works on plagiarism.
