March 29, 2019 students of the academic group PR-404 of the Faculty of Law, accompanied by a mentor Julia Lancetova, visited the monument to Ivan Franko. The monument is located in the historic Pechersk in the center of Kiev - in the square on the square of Ivan Franko next to the building of the National Academic Drama Theater, also bearing the name Kamenyar. The monument is a bronze half-figure of the writer, which is set on a pedestal made of red granite. The total height of the sculpture is 4.5 meters. Students learned that the history of the monument began on August 28, 1956, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the poet. During the excursion, the students discussed with the mentor the life path of the poet, his work, political and legal views, and the social and political activities of the Ukrainian artist. Such measures form the feeling of patriotism and national consciousness in future lawyers.
