On February 22, 2019, students of academic groups PR-106 and PR-206 of the Faculty of Law, accompanied by their tutor Oksana Mironets, visited the Kyiv Academic Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka and watched a comedy of Ray Cooney “No. 13 (Shallow Night or Pigend’s marriage)”.

The pleasant atmosphere of the theatre hall, right scenery, the skilful and emotional play of the actors captured the students’ attention from the first minute of the play. The unexpected and extraordinary turns of the script, acutely satirical situations not only clearly reflected the destructive power of human moral defects and passions but also forced the audience to reflect on the social problems of spiritual impoverishment and false decency.

A review of the play received a Lawrence’s Olivier award as the best English comedy 1991, has a worldview forming character, which, of course, has inestimable value for the upbringing of the youth today.
