January 30, 2019 students of academic groups PR-102, PR-103, PR-104 of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute attended a lecture-presentation about the Day of Unity of Ukraine, conducted by mentors of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure.

The Day of Unification of Ukraine is celebrated annually, starting from the day of the signing in 1919 of the Act of the Union of the Ukrainian People's Republic (UNR) and the West Ukrainian People's Republic (ZUNR). It became a powerful manifestation of the will of the Ukrainians to ethnic and Ukrainians to ethnic and territorial unity, evidence of their identity.

The Unification Act gave the completed form to an independent Ukrainian state, helped to overcome the remnants of the ideas of federalism in the mentality of the national political elite.

This holiday reminds us that we are one state, one nation!
