On December 13, 2018, within the framework of the implementation of the Educational Work Plan of the Educational and Research Institute of Law in 2018-2019, the assistant of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Liudmyla Shapenko together with the students of the 1st year Tetyana Dzhugleya, Viktoriya Kirichenko and Iryna Osadchenko held a competition for law "Legal Olympus" among the senior pupils of the secondary school № 46 in Kyiv.
This meeting took place within the celebration of Ukrainian Law Week with the aim to consolidate knowledge about the human and citizens` rights, freedoms and duties, as well as formation of a conscious attitude to the modern legal reality and increase of the general level of legal culture of youth.
The competition was held in three rounds, during which pupils were able to demonstrate their knowledge of jurisprudence and express their own point of view on the further development of Ukraine as a constitutional state in the light of modern changes.
According to the results of the three rounds, the winners were Maria Fanok (1st place), Elizar Akishin (2nd place) and Kirilo Beregovoy (3rd place), who were awarded with diplomas.
