On December 12, 2018, the assistant of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Educational and Research Institute of Law Liudmyla Shapenko together with the first-year students Tetyana Dzhugleya, Viktoria Kirichenko and Irina Osadchenko held a legal training on the topic "Compliance with laws of Ukraine is the duty of every citizen" for senior pupils of the Specialized School of І-ІІІ degrees № 234 in Kyiv.
Legal training was held in order to form legal outlook and legal culture of teenagers, educate them in a conscious and responsible attitude to their rights and duties.
During the event, all participants actively discussed the theoretical aspects of law, in particular, its importance for the development of a legal democratic state in Ukraine, as well as practical questions regarding various types of offenses and legal responsibility for their commission.
At the end of the meeting, the students told prospective university entrants about the features of the legal profession, its role in modern life, as well as provided information on the conditions of admission and education in the Educational and Research Institute of Law of the NAU.
