On December 5th , 2018, an assistant of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Educational and Research Institute of Law Liudmyila Shapenko and the students Carina Galatenko, Alina Malichina, Yaroslava Manko and Anna Caesar held a conversation called "Legal education - a way to overcome legal nihilism" for senior pupils of the school № 248 of Desnianskyi district of Kyiv.
This event was held with the aim of forming a legal culture and active civil position of students, raising the level of their legal and moral consciousness.
During the thematic discussion, the main focus was put on discussion of the problems of overcoming such a dangerous social phenomenon as legal nihilism, which is one of the obstacles to the reform of state institutions and changes in the process of development constitutional state in Ukraine, as well as consideration of measures of political, socio-economic and the spiritual and cultural character necessary to ensure the rule of law, the legal education of the person and the improvement of the normative basis.
At the end of the meeting, the students revealed the essence and content of the legal profession, as well as provided information to future entrants regarding the conditions for admission to higher education institutions and the benefits of studying at the Educational and Research Institute of Law of National Aviation University.
