On November 30, 2018, with the purpose of commemorate the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, students of the academic group PR-101 of Educational and Research Institute of Law, led by the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, made an excursion to the National Museum "Memorial to the Holodomor Victims».
During the visit to the museum, the students of 1st course were able to inspect the exhibits reproducing the living conditions of the peasants during the times of dekulakization and forced collectivization, which resulted in the massive Holodomor of the Ukrainian population in 1932-1933; The National Book of Holodomor Victims' Memory, which contains information on 15 affected regions of Ukraine. The final leitmotif of the event was a review of the documentary "Holodomor. Forgetten Genocide", which shows the history of the genocide of the Ukrainian nation and commemorates the victims of the tragic events that happened 85 years ago.
At the end of the excursion, the students noted the importance of knowledge about the history of the Holodomor, which is provided by the museum, since they raise issues not only to save the memory of the past, but also to rethink the moral values of everyone who is not indifferent to the nationwide tragedy of our country.
