November 29, 2018 scientific and pedagogical staff of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Law took part in the all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "Actual problems of medical law: professional view".

The rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, academician of NAS of Ukraine,professor Leonid Gubernsky addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, and focused on the management of medical institutions and the formation of a new direction in legal education – medical law. Deputy Minister of health of Ukraine, doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Roman Ilyk and Deputy Minister of education and science of Ukraine, candidate of Sciences of public administration, honored lawyer of Ukraine Roman Greba underscored that in the process of medical reform raised a number of issues that require legal regulation, namely: the relationship between the patient and the health care institution, improving the quality of medical services, etc. State Secretary of the Ministry of health of Ukraine, associate Professor, honored lawyer of Ukraine Artem Yanchuk noted that the reform of the civil service largely determines the success of other reforms, the results of which directly depend on the quality of management decisions of state bodies.

During the conference there was a discussion between experts in the field of law and the medical field, the results of which were formulated proposals to improve legislation in the medical field.
