On November 20, 2018, students of NAU met with chief commercial officer of Ryanair David O'Brien at the National Aviation University.
Active participation in this event was attended by students of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Law.
The event took place in the Assembly hall of the University, where the guests were warmly welcomed by students. The opening speech was made by the rector of the University Volodimir Isaenko, who congratulated all those present and thanked David O'brien for his cooperation. Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan, welcoming the participants, noted that in Ukraine there is all the necessary base for training Ukrainians profession pilot, engineer, flight attendant, technical staff and so on. "We understand that the need for such professions in Ukraine and the world will only grow. We hope that the Ryanair training center will also be located in Ukraine," the Minister said.
David O'Brien spoke about Ryanair as one of the few companies that allows you to travel comfortably, and most importantly-safe! The lecturer focused the students ' attention on cooperation with Ukraine and new Ryanair routes to Kiev, Krakow, London, Warsaw and other cities. He also noted that NAU students have the opportunity to participate in Ryanair programs and gain international experience. For over an hour David o'brien answered questions from the audience. The main surprise was that David gave tickets to 2 students,who asked interesting questions. One of them was a student of the 2nd course of the Educational-scientific Institute of law Sergey Sherstoboyev.
