On November 23, 2018, a thematic discussion on "The Importance of Legal Education for the Creation of a Modern State" was held in a specialized school with in-depth study of foreign language №220 and a lecture on "Human rights: historical and legal aspects" was held at the lyceum "Golosiivsky" №241 of Kyiv. by the Associate Professor of the Chair of theory and history of state and law of the Academic and Research Law Institute Оlena Makeeva
During the events, students learned about the basic rights and freedoms, duties of citizens under the Constitution of Ukraine, as well as the history of the formation of human rights, their classification. Particular attention was paid to the relevance of legal education in the context of European integration and the application of profession of a lawyer.
At the end of the meeting Olena Makeeva spoke about her studies at the AR LI NAU and invited them to the Open Day, which will be held on November 24th.
