On the 23th of November, 2018 with the support of the Family center in Solomyanska area in Kyiv, state administration in the National Aviation University the meeting between mentors, senior students and a coordinator of projects GO “Team detdom.info”, mentor of the Ministry of social policy according to the program of mentoring upon children associate professor Alyona Grebennikova.

The organizer of this event was the Educational and Legal Law Institute.

Detdom.info is a project, which was created in 2005 by the group of people in order to be informative area for those, who need help and those, who want to help children. The main goals of the project are adaptation, socialization and other intangible help for orphan children and other categories of children, who need help; the support of family form of upbringing (biological and professional families); financial help should be directed in effective way (education, treatment, creation of center of rehabilitation etc.)

All of the attention of project is focused on “boarding children”: children, who are one step away from boarding schools and come from or live with families, which are in complicate life circumstances; orphan children, who have no parents’ care, who live and are brought up in the boarding schools; the graduates from orphanages.

During the lecture on topic “State program – Taking care of children from boarding schools” have been discussed subjects, goals, forms, main directions of mentoring activity, examples of life situations of orphan children, who have no parents’ care, which the project “Detdom.info” has helped.

At the end of meeting active discussion occurred on questions, regarding helping category of children, who need this. Also some of the event’s participants joined this projects.
