On November 15, 2018, with the purpose of optimizing the academic activity of the students of the first year of the Educational and Research Institute of Law, workers of the department of work with students organised a lecture-presentation on the theme "Psychological features of self-organization of students' educational activity".
An introductory word was addressed to the students by a docent of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, senior mentor of Educational and Research Institute of Law Olena Makeieva, who noted that the important guarantee of students high achievements in studying and public life is the ability to organize their time, find opportunities for self-development and improvements of their professional skills and individual abilities.
Interesting and meaningful were the speeches and presentations of workers of the department on work with students, which gave useful advices and recommendations to students about the self-organization of their educational activities. Marina Maevska, a leading specialist in the department of working with students, the coach talked about issues of time management and emotional intelligence. Myroslava Bogdasyuk, a specialist in the department of work with students, the psychologist has emphasized on such topical problems of freshmen as stress resistance and critical thinking.
Such events help first-year students to adapt to the new conditions of studying, correctly organize their time, and become a solid ground for the formation of true professionals in the field of jurisprudence.
