October 31, 2018, a scientific-methodical seminar on the topic “Current issues of private law” was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Law.The scientific and methodological seminar was attended by representatives of higher education institutions and government organizations, including: Anna Peredereeva - Head of the Secretariat on access to public information, reception and addresses of citizens of the Secretariat of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine; Peter Shumsky - Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Law, Kiev University of Culture; Sergey Gubarev - Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Humanitarian Institute of Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University; Svetlana Khomyachenko - Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine; Tatyana Chasovaya - Ph.D., individual legal practice; Anna Digtyarenko - Chief Specialist of the Analytical and Informational Support Section of the Department for the Prevention of Political Corruption of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption; Marina Savchuk - lawyer. During the meeting, issues of consumer extremism, protection of fetal rights of the unborn person in Ukraine, proper operational support for the use of new forms of employment and the development of common regulatory approaches to their regulation were discussed. According to the results of the scientific and methodological seminar, it was proposed to involve specialists in the field of legislative work, practitioners in work at scientific and methodological seminars, to carry out further research on the topical issues of private law by studying relevant modern scientific works, judicial practice, advanced training, internships, including abroad.
