On October 19, 2018, a scientific and practical round table was held at the Educational and Scientific Law Institute on the topic “Public law guarantees of the observance and protection of the rights of a person and citizen in Ukraine”.The following scientists took part in the scientific event: Mikhail Gultai (Doctor of Law, judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine); Fu Guoqiang (Legal Specialist, Singapore); Sergiy Zamidra (Advisor to the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Chairman of the Nemishayevsk village council) Dmitry Golosnichenko (Doctor of Laws, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Economic and Administrative Law of the National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI” named after Igor Sikorsky); Lyudmila Takadzhi (Head of the Legal Department of the Limited Liability Company Asset Management Company Europe), as well as teachers and students of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute of the National Aviation University. During the discussion, issues were discussed that, along with the traditional processes in jurisprudence, today, to protect the rights of citizens, the new procedural and legal form - the constitutional legal process - is important. Today, the institute of constitutional complaint has not yet been fully operational in Ukraine. However, despite temporary difficulties in application, the institution of constitutional complaint, born in the depths of European constitutionalism, of course, has great potential. If the constitutional complaint works at full capacity, it will certainly reduce the number of applications submitted to the ECHR, significantly strengthening the national system of judicial system and protection of human rights.
