October 17, 2018, students of the academic group ПР-101M of the Educational and Research Institute of Law, together with mentor Vitaly Belousov, visited the memorial to the staff of the Ministry of interior of Ukraine deceased during their official duties.

According to the National Program for the upbringing of children and young people in Ukraine, the goal of education is the development of a citizen of Ukraine as a patriot of his country, who is able to identify national dignity.

The memorial is located on Solomenskaya Square, in front of the National Academy of Internal Affairs. It consists of a monument with the inscription "Courage, loyalty, heroism of the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine", made in the form of a grieving woman who misses her dead husband, son, brother. Left and right are memorial plates with lists of dead law enforcement officers.

This year in August new memorial plates were constructed. It was the first time, when the names of the dead policemen, border guards and rescuers of the fighting in eastern Ukraine were carved on such plates.

The students laid flowers down the monument and honored the memory of the deceased law enforcement heroes with a minute of silence.
