October 18, 2018 in the framework of the career guidance work, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Process of the Educational and Research Law Institute Irina Litvinova held a legal lecture hall for students of 10 classes of the Ukrainian College of them. V.A. Sukhomlinsky (specialized school №272 of Kiev) on the theme "Countering human trafficking".“In the modern world, human trafficking is one of the most widespread violations of human rights and freedoms. Globalization on a global scale, the growing interdependence and interconnectedness of states, the uneven socio-economic development of individual regions of the world have caused such an anti-human phenomenon as human trafficking that has never been seen before in the late 20th century, ”said Irina Litvinova. During the legal lecture hall, questions on measures to prevent human trafficking in different countries of the world and in Ukraine were discussed and discussed, in particular, global statistics on human trafficking, forms of exploitation, hidden risks, and basic tips that every person traveling abroad should be given study, work or rest. At the end of the event, an active and fruitful discussion took place on practical preventive work on combating human trafficking.
