On October 16, 2018, students of the 3-rd year of the Law and Training Institute of Law together with the professors of the Department of Economic, Air and Space Law Nadia Armash and Valentina Kozyreva attended the Svyatoshinsky District Court of Kyiv.Judge-speaker Marina Ozdoba described the peculiarities of the work of the judge to the students, focusing on the issues of particular interest to them - the requirements for a candidate for a position of judge, the order of appointment to this position, etc. Before communicating with students, the prosecutor of the Kyiv Local Prosecutor's Office No 8 Oleksiy Grodsky was also invited to specialize in maintaining a public prosecution in a criminal proceeding. Alexei Grodsky told the students about the main directions of the prosecutor's activity, explained the procedure for passing the practice in the prosecutor's office, the procedure for admission and conditions of service, qualification requirements for the position of the prosecutor of the local prosecutor's office. Lawyer Sergiy Sachnyuk spoke about the peculiarities of the profession of lawyer, the role of a lawyer, a lawyer, a representative in the trial, and also stressed the generally accepted rules of conduct in court and during the court session. Special interest in students caused criminal proceedings to be prosecuted in connection with theft. In conclusion, students were invited to share experiences from personal acquaintance with the work of the court.
