On March 30, 2018, the lecturer-training for the 4th year students of NNUI NAU "Decentralization of power - perspectives and development in the aspect of advocacy" was conducted by Professor of the Department of Economic, Air and Space Law of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute Nadiya Armash.
The state policy of Ukraine in the field of local self-government is primarily based on the interests of the inhabitants of the territorial communities and involves major changes and system reforms, decentralization of power - that is, the transfer of a significant part of powers, resources and responsibilities from the executive bodies to local self-government bodies. The basis of this policy is the provisions of the European Charter of Local Self-Government and the best world standards of public relations in this area. The advocacy community is actively involved in the process of community counseling. They are in dire need of professional assistance not only in documentation, organization of the electoral process, but also in the professional promotion of the process of association among potential members of territorial associations. Future lawyers should be prepared to engage in legal assistance to territorial communities in the process of decentralizing power in Ukraine. All the conditions for the acquisition of knowledge and skills by students in this field are created in NNUI NAU.
