In order to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Kiev from fascist invaders, on November 4, 2017, students of the Law and Legal Institute together with the professors of the Department of Economic, Air and Space Law Nadia Armash and Dmitry Bezzubov visited the National Museum of Ukrainian History in the Second World War.
The purpose of the event is to determine the place and role of the city of Kiev as the strategic foothold of the Second World War, to bring to the attention of the students the consequences of destruction during the conduct of hostilities. «According to historians, about three million Soviet soldiers died in the territory of Ukraine, more than two million Ukrainians were taken to forced labor to Germany during the occupation», - said Dmitry Bezzubov during the event. After the excursion to the museum, students were able to ask the guide about the stages of the operation to liberate the city of Kiev, the types of military equipment used in this operation and the number of dead soldiers and civilians in the fight against the Nazi invaders. «Heroism and courage, stability and will for the victory of the liberators of the city of Kiev will remain in our memory forever», - said the students.
