On October 5, 2017, the First Kyiv State Notary Office hosted an Open Doors Day, which was attended by students of the first year of the Educational and Research Institute of Law.
During the event, future lawyers had the opportunity to meet and communicate directly with: Vice-President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Notaries - Olga Onischuk, member of the Council of the Kyiv Chamber of Notaries in Kyiv - Andriy Sidorenko, First Deputy Head of the Main Territorial Justice Department in Kyiv - Andriy Ravlyuk and Chief Notary Office - Kirill Minenko. The speakers noted that over the past two years control over the activity of notaries of the city has been intensified by carrying out scheduled inspections whose number has increased by 47%; state notaries have increased by 61% the number of providing additional paid services of a legal and technical nature; reception in the state notarial archive is arranged using an electronic record; The mechanism of operative collection of information from private notaries through the Google form was introduced. At the end of the event, the staff of the notary's office invited students to practice in the state notary and emphasized that through the section "Social Elevator" for the service of the On-Line Justice House, every student at the Institute of Law can apply for an internship in any state notary public office in the city of Kyiv. Such events are aimed at helping young people in their future profession. After all, law students are able to get acquainted with the work of the notaries, to see the workshops, to get valuable practical skills.
