On September 28, 2017, students of the group PR-404 group of Educational and Research Institute of Law together with the tutor Oksana Myronets made a walk along Andrew’s Descent.During the walk, the students learned the story of the street, which was named after Andrew the First Called. Oksana Myronets told the senior students that the upper part of the descent existed during the times of Kyivan Rus and united Old Kyiv and Podil, lay between Andrew’s and Castle hills. However, the official date of the street appearance is 1711. A fact that by 1860 the descent was almost unbuilt, included just several small houses of the village type, which were demolished during the reconstruction of the descent in 1981-1982 was very interesting for the young people.
