On September 26, 2017, as part of the Memorandum, which was signed by the Levitt Institute of International Development and the National Aviation University, students of the faculty of law had a lecture, which was held by the American lawyer, who has knowledge in private practice and specializes in criminal affairs, Jeremy Deliccino.
During an interactive lesson about "The investigation and pre-trial process" students had a chance to learn more about the features of providing legal assistance in the form of representation and protection in criminal cases at the phase of inquiry and preliminary investigation, and in court instances. During the dialogue, the speaker told students of his own law practice in the United States, discussed important components of lawyer's skills and shared his own methodology for conducting specific criminal cases. Jeremy Deliccino succeeded in inciting students' desire to acquire more knowledge during their studies, to work hard, and, as a result, it would help to prepare for the future advocacy, to become a good and skilled lawyer, it would also create conditions for the revival of the advocate's elite in Ukraine, and the formation of a highly professional law-enforcement corps.
