June 13, 2017, the first-year students of the Educational and Research Institute of Law accompanied by the assistant of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Lyudmila Shapenko visited the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine.
During the excursion the students visited the Museum of History of Economic Courts of Ukraine, whose exposition highlights the major milestones in the history of the formation and development of commercial (arbitration) courts of Ukraine, from the founding of the first commercial court in Odessa in 1808 to the present day, the activities of the chief state arbitrators, heads of Economic Court of Ukraine, their deputies, state arbitrators and retired judges. At the end of the event the students inspected the courtrooms of the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine, a conference room, an atrium, a library, which gave an opportunity to form a clearer picture of the peculiarities of the judge's profession and work in the institution.
