On April 20, 2017 in the Education and Scientific Institute of Law was held the scientific and methodical seminar «Modern approaches to teaching law disciplines».
The participants of the seminar were: Director of the Institute, Doctor of law, Associate Professor – Irina Sopilko; the person responsible for the scientific and methodical work, Doctor of law, Professor – Rostislav Каliuzhnyj; Director assistant of the Pedagogics Institute of the Academy of Pedagogics of Ukraine, Candidate of Pedagogics – Mykola Golovko; Head of the department of history of law and state of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev, Doctor of law, Professor – Maria Miroshnichenko; Vice-Rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Colonel of police, Doctor of Law, Professor – Stanislav Husaryev, Head of Department of Legal Maintenance of National University of Defense of Ukraine naimed after Ivan Chernyakhovskyi, PhD (Law), Colonel of Justice – Mykhailo Prokhorenko; assistant professor of department of civil and legal disciplines of the National Academy of Security, PhD (Law), assistant professor – Alexander Tikhomirov, as well as scientific and teaching staff of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Education and Scientific Institute of Law. This event helped to reveal the modernization of educational activities in higher educational institutions of Ukraine, introduction of innovative technologies quality management of higher education and optimization the learning process in educational reform. During the scientific discussion participants made conclusions about the need for use of the latest psychological and pedagogical approaches and principles of science to teaching of Ukrainian law and taking into account international experience with innovative methods.
