On April 12th, 2017, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, the Educational and Scientific Law Institute conducted a lecture-presentation on "Outstanding Personalities in the Aviation University and Their Role in the History of Aviation and Astronautics" for First-year Students.
Elena Makeyeva, an associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, made an appeal tothe students with an introduction, congratulating all those present on the World Aviation and Space Day, noting that today NAU is one of the most powerful aviation higher educational institutions in the world, which has a history that is closely connected with the development of aviation and cosmonautics. After all, it is the workers and graduates of NAU that make a great contribution to the development of aviation in Ukraine. The event continued with speeches about the life and activities of outstanding personalities of NAU, their correspondent members of the NAS of Ukraine such as: М.М. Golego, A. Aksenov, Academician V. Chelomei, Professor T. Bashnia, etc. Confirmations of the confirmed facts were found in the tape of the documentary "Lovers in the Sky", which was filmed on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Aviation University. After watching the film, Natalia Pilgun, associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, made an appeal to the first-year students, who noted that students should know their alma mater well, be proud of their outstanding personalities and be worthy people who will multiply its fame not only in Ukraine, but also beyond its borders. So that they are a reliable spiritual foundation for the ideological and patriotic development of student youth, the formation of their corporate culture.
