On March 26th, 2017 the students of the group PR-303 of Educational and Research Institute of Law with their tutor Lyudmila Shapenko visited the monument of the famous wandering philosopher and poet Grigory Skovoroda.
Monument of G. Skovoroda is indispensable attribute of National university of «Kiev-Mohyla Academy», where Ukrainian philosopher and educator spent several years of his life as a student and as a teacher. Built in 1977, the sculpture represents the ideas of eternal traveler who seeks the hidden knowledge of the Universe and respects what he has. That is why the name of the great genius doesn’t go off in the memory of the Ukrainian people, and his life still can be an example for many of his contemporaries and descendants. During the excursion, students were remembered activity and life of Grigory Skovoroda, which allowed a more complete understanding of the essence of his philosophy, to understand the elegance of his poems and parables-dialogues, which are full of high moral ideals, and democratic views on the development of each individual.
