January 30, 2017, a corporate hour on the topic «Fight under Kruty: known and unknown pages» was held by mentors of the criminal law and processes department of the Educational and Research Institute of Law with the purpose of commemorating the memory of Ukrainian heroes who died in the Battle of Kruty in 1918.

January 29 of each year, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Memory of the heroes of Kruty. There in 1918 a battle took place, which for many years became one of the symbols of the struggle of the ukrainian people for freedom and independence.
Future lawyers with scientific and pedagogical workers, recalled the historical details of the Battle of Kruty, watched the documentary «Fight under Kruty» and honored the memory of the fallen heroes with a minute of silence.
Honor of the feats of the heroes of the Battle of Kruty, as a memory of the significant date of the struggle for the independence of Ukraine, is of great importance for patriotic education of the youth, strengthening of respect for the independence of Ukraine, and the formation of a united Ukrainian nation.
