December 16, 2016 in the Educational and Research Institute of Law held scientific-practical round table on the theme: «Actual problems of counteraction of criminality in European integration environment».
The event was started opening remarks the head of the department of criminal law and procedure, Doctor of Law, Professor Sophia Lyhovа, who noted the relevance of issues of counteraction of criminality in the conditions of European integration and related issues, and wished all the participants successful deliberations. Presentations were made by: Ephraim Lashchuk - Head of the Department of interaction with the state bodies and the internal audit of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, Ph.D., associate professor ("Actual problems of interpretation of the law by the Supreme Court of Ukraine"), Alexander Motliyah - Leading Research Laboratory on the problems of pre-trial investigation of Teaching and Research Institute №1, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor ("The problem of the system implementation and the results of the polygraph in domestic criminal proceedings"), Boris Leonov - a leading researcher of the Ukrainian Scientific-Research Institute of special equipment and court expertise of the SBU, Doctor of Law, Professor ("Problems of recognition of terrorist organizations"), Natalia Yarmish - Senior Lecturer, Department of training prosecutors on law enforcement supervision of the execution of judicial decisions in criminal proceedings of the National Academy of Prosecution of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor ("Is it possible extortion undue advantage when the influence of Abuse?"), Makar Marchuk - leading researcher of the Interdepartmental Research Centre for the fight against organized crime at the NSDC of Ukraine, Ph.D. ("Ways to counteract violations in the sphere of public procurement"), and all members of the department and masters group PR-503M. Such events is of great importance to the exchange of views of leading scientists and contributes to the improvement of science, law-making and enforcement.
