Service activity particularities of defence police

07 11 16 bOn the 3rd of November, 2016 a leading legal adviser of Defence police Kiev region Oksana Labutina delivered a lecture on the theme “Service activity particularities of defence police” for 3rd year students of Educational and Research Institute of Law.

The meeting has been organized to discuss issues concerning the improvement of National Police of Ukraine departments’ management, in particular highlighting the features of defence police activity in conditions of police reforms. Defence police is the single enforcement agency in Ukraine, employees of which have legally defined rights and authority to use armed guards and power functions implementation in relation to offenders.
During the lecture the students learned about the important role of a lawyer in rights protection and legitimate interests of each member of defence police in courts or other bodies of state power ensuring.
At the end of the event Oksana Labutina wished future lawyers tireless and dedicated work as if the legal profession requires constant internal and external work, in terms of the search for truth, inner balance and professional wisdom.
