October 17, 2016, in accordance with the Day of a defendant of Ukraine to honor the courage and heroism of the Armed forces who are defending the independence and territorial integrity of our country, military traditions and achievements of the Ukrainian people the meeting of Mediation Center of Education and Research Institute of Law has been held.

The student of the group PR-503M Sergiy Kolomiets researched the main stages of the life of Peter Kalnyshevsky, the last ataman of Zaporizhzhya Sich, who selflessly defended the interests of Ukraine and Cossack troops, took care of the economic prosperity of the camp, at his own expense built the Orthodox churches. Consistent defend Cossacks’ rights and liberties by him contributed the destruction of Zaporizhzhya Sich by Russian troops in June 1775 and the imprisonment of Peter Kalnyshevsky Solovetsky Island’s prison, where he died 113 years old.
Tetiana Datsenko, the student of the group PR-402, in her report "Great achievements of heroic defenders of modern Ukraine" recalled terrible events that occurred in eastern Ukraine, whipped by terrorist military aircraft IL-76 and helicopter MI-8 at the airport "Lugansk," fighting for Saur-Tomb, Ilovajskij boiler. The student stopped at one of the most heroic and tragic events of ATO that was defense Donetsk Airport duration of 242 days by "cyborgs", which became a symbol of courage and heroism of Ukrainian military personnel and great love to our Motherland.
The event ended with a moment of silence and sincere wishes to all of us peaceful sky and happy future of independent Ukraine.
