September 20, 2016 Teaching and Research Institute of Law in cooperation with The Institute ICAO, held a joint meeting dedicated to the World Congress "Aviation in the XXI century".
The honorary right to open the meeting was given to the Director of the Teaching and Research Institute of Law, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Irina Sopilko and Director of the Institute ICAO, the leading international experts in the field of aviation security, Professor Galina Suslova. Galina noted the important place of aviation in our time, as well as the necessity to ensure aviation safety in the global context. Then the floor was given to the honorary guests of the event, the director of the regional office of "Turkish Airlines" in Ukraine Saidzhy Dinçer and Deputy Director of "Boryspil" International airport Nikolay Hlivny were among them. Thay said many warm words addressed to the National Aviation University and the organizers of the event. Thay noted also that is very impotant now to make close cooperation between the subjects of the aviation industry for its effective functioning and achievement of good results in the future. ICAO Institute Speakers familiarized the participants with some aspects of the functioning of the protected network delivery cargo aviation and talked about the experience of air marshals, the Federal Service in the United States and brought arguments about the need to created some Service like that in Ukraine and other countries also. Representatives of the Teaching and Research Institute of Law in their reports considered issues of legislative support of the aviation industry and noted the importance of compliance with and enforcement of legislation, regulations and rules by all stakeholders, which are connected with aviation. In general, the meeting was held in a cordial and creative atmosphere, and all of its participants stressed a lot of new and interesting, and wished to further such activities were carried out as often as possible. It was agreed between the members of meeting to continue discussions on all the issues raised at the conference in November this year.
