To execute Plan of educational and training work in 2015-2016 academic year on 30th of May, 2016 there was a chess tournament between students and teachers of Institute at Educational and Research Institute of Law.
The competition has been organized to develop of a personality and provide opportunities to demonstrate abilities not only in teaching, research activities, student and other competitions. After all, chess is a very interesting game that can develop and improve memory, intellect, concentrate attention. That is why it got favor of representative of more than 100 countries in the world, and since 1999 with support of International Olympic Committee has been recognized as an official kind of sport. Chess games took place simultaneously on two boards between Head of Department of Theory and History of State and Law Ivan Borodin and the student of the group PR-101 Oleksandr Mandryka, and also Professor of Department of Theory and History of State and Law Rostyslav Kaliuzhnyi and the student of the group PR-101 Artem Ponomarenko. As a result of competitions Rostyslav Kaliuzhnyi and Oleksandr Mandryka become winners. At the end of the event the winners have been awarded with diplomas and other participants received letters of commendation for their active participation in the tournament.
