On the 27th of April, 2016 students of the group PR-204 of Scientific and Research Institute of Law, accompanied by a mentor Oksana Myronets visited Branch-house-museum name after T.G. Shevchenko. The first museum of Taras Shevchenko, where he lived from spring 1846 until his arrest April 5, 1947, is a great attraction of the history of our people. Built as a house in 1835, it belonged to an official Ivan Zhytnitskiy, later became the residence of our poet and also meeting of members of Cyril and Methodius organization. The internal situation in detail recreates the cultural elements and allows you to experience the "spirit" of the time. Stock museum's collection has unique values: supplies for drawing and first printings of Taras Shevchenko, unique photographs and engravings of landscapes of Kyiv in XIX century. Particular attention was paid to reproduced poet’s personal room where students saw the desktop, the pen, some ink, the coffee pot in the form of a predatory bird of the poet, his own cup and tobacco pipe. The hempen shirt and sailcloth suit were shown too. The interesting tour with reciting passages from Shevchenko’s poems by a guide opened interesting moments of poet’s life for visitors.
