April 22, 2016 the Department of Criminal Law and Process Educational and Research Institute of Law organized and held a scientific seminar on "European standards for the protection of human rights and civil rights, criminal law aspect".
The seminar was attended by prominent leading experts in the field of criminal law, criminology, criminal process, namely Michael Kolos - former judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine; Boris Leonov - a leading researcher of the Ukrainian Research Institute of special equipment and court expertise, Doctor of Law; Natalia Yarmysh - Professor of the National Academy of Prosecution of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor; Makar Marchuk - leading researcher of Interdepartmental Research Center for Combating Organized Crime under the National Security and Defense of Ukraine, PhD; Olga Kryshevych - Professor of Criminal Law National Academy, PhD, associate professor. During the the seminar current issues of rights and freedoms of man and citizen in Ukraine and abroad were discussed . Carrying out such scientific events attract both teaching staff and students of Educational and Research Institute of Law of NAU in scientific creativity.
