On February 18-19th, 2016 Vitalii Bilousov and Maryna Zelenova, the lecturers of the Department of Civil Law and Trial, held thematic exhibition devoted to the consumers’ rights protection in the methodical room of Education and Research Law Institute.

The purpose of the event was to familiarize students with scientific literature researching the legal basis of the consumers’ rights protection.
While exhibition lecturers described the concept of consumers’ rights, provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine ensuring the consumers’ rights protection, provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of the Consumers’ Rights” and students viewed the topical editions which they can use to improve their knowledge in this field.
While exhibition Vitalii Bilousov stated that the process of formation and the forming a system of protection of citizen’s rights is based on the Article 42 of the Constitution of Ukraine according to which the state protects the rights of consumers, executes control over the quality and safety of products and all kinds of services and works. Maryna Zelenova pointed that protection and control over the consumers’ rights protection are made by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, State Housing and Communal Inspectorate.
Visiting the exhibition the students were the most interested in the scientific editions focused on the problem of consumers’ rights protection in the field of health service, tourism and consumer lending.
