November 25th , 2015 the lecturer of Criminal Law and Process Educational and Research Institute of Law Roshchina Inna, Alice Kochneva, Sergey Bagirov and Head of the Department Doctor of Law, Professor Sophia Lykhova together with Solomenskyi district state administration of Kyiv held legal lectures in «Kyiv Electromechanical College» on the topic: «Stop violence. Respect for human rights».
The purpose of the event - drawing the attention of young people to overcome the current problem of family violence and their involvement in the fight against this phenomenon. During the meeting, the students discussed the importance of European standards in the field of human rights and their implementation in legislation and the daily life of our country. Emphasized that the problem of domestic violence is quite acute for Ukraine, as for many other countries. Its danger lies in the fact that violence and cruelty in the family not only destroy the harmony and harmony in the family, but also act as one of the preconditions of crime in society in general.At the end of the meeting, the participants concluded that violence today are filled with all aspects of human life: political, economic, spiritual and family welfare. It has expression in wars, murders, devaluation of life, the rule of phenomen such as anti-human, aggression, cruelty. Because each of us, society and the state as a whole must protect themselves and their loved ones from aggression and violence, to help people who have suffered violence.
