On the 25th of November, 2015 there was a meeting of Associate Professor of Department of Theory and History of State and Law of Education and Research Institute of Law Nataliya Pylhun, the student Luisa Velykian with Senior pupils of Secondary school № 10 in Kyiv.
The purpose of the event is to make the meaningful influence on pupils to form their legal culture and active legitimate behavior; give the necessary legal knowledge to the pupils, indicate that the young generation should respect and obey the law. During the meeting pupils’ attention was focused on active participation of youth in formation of the modern legal state. Also, problems of implementation of cultural values by youth were outlined. In particular, Nataliya Pylhun pointed out that nowadays prestige of a school, parents and the state as a whole was lost, as now the media, natural factors and various youth groups influence on young people more and more. A significant obstacle to the formation of legal culture is that in the public mind today often there are misconceptions regarding legal compliance and offensive for violations of legal liability. Thematical meetings with the younger generation help to prevent criminal offenses and delinquency among young people, that is the main direction of government and public activities.
