November 17, 2015, the Day of liberation of Kiev from Nazi invaders, the students of the groups PR-103, PR-304 Educational-scientific Institute of Law, accompanied by the mentors Marina Zelenova and Anna Omelchenko visited the Park of Eternal Glory and The National Museum of World War II.
During the event students had the opportunity to honor those who died in the Second world war, visiting the Park of Eternal Glory, in particular the memorial of Eternal Glory which consists of the obelisk and the Eternal flame in the Alley of Martyrs, where 34 graves of soldiers killed on the war fronts. During the tour, the students got acquainted with Memorial complex «Museum of The History of Ukraine in World War II», which includes: a Museum with a monument «Motherland», the main square with Alley hero cities and sculptures «Forcing of the Dnipro» and «Transfer of weapons», the gallery of heroes front and rear with bronze high relief compositions bowl «Fire of Glory», exhibition of military equipment and weapons open to visits of tourists itself years Li-2 and helicopter Mi-24V. The main exposition of the Museum building – a three-storey building with an area in front of him, which seats up to 30,000 people. The Museum building is also the pedestal for The Motherland Monument of sheet stainless steel. Such events are of particular importance for students, because they allow to feel a continuous link with the past, introduce them to the tradition to defend your Homeland, protect the homeland.
