On the 6th of November, 2015 dedicated to the Day of Liberation of Kyiv from Nazi invaders the students of the group PR-101 of Educational and Scientific Law Institute with the tutor Olena Makeieva the visited the Park of Glory and the monument of the Eternal Flame to honour memory of fallen soldiers during the Second World War.
During the event Olena Makeieva together with the students discussed the historical events at the end of September and at the beginning of October in 1943. The students noted that today the role of heroic veterans of World War II is played by veterans of foreign wars, peacekeepers, members of anti-terrorist operations. So these days are connected with the other people who protect their countries. The students commemorated a minute of silence and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame obelisk. Such measures of national-patriotic education help to establish in consciousness and feelings of a person patriotic values, beliefs and respect for the cultural and historical past of Ukraine.
